weather (16 out of 35)
- Finished Legends and Lattes. Started We Won't Be Here Tomorrow.
- Made many mince pies at the Community Kitchen, and falafel at home.
- Watched all of Only Murders In The Building.
- Had a great many walkies with Max including a day out in Edinburgh.
- Snowed under with Ops work, recruitment stuff, and Spanish employment law anxiety (it's all fine, though).
- Nacreous clouds! For three days in a row! Lots of walkies and cuddles before Max left for his other home.
- Astonishingly, the sea restored the hole it had earlier gouged in the beach, covering the new steps we started to build with fresh rocks, and excavating my morning seat that had been buried. So, back to how it was before.
- Started a new story for NaNoWriMo. Stayed pretty on top of the word count.
- Worked with a new crew to get a funding application in for a local commumnity support project.
- Dave and Huan briefly came back.
- Made apple cake and apple and fig strudel at the Community Kitchen, and even stayed to eat some. Chanterelle pizza at home.
- Pressed the button on the smoke machine at K's for hallowe'en.
- Just about finished my hallway cupboard pantry and tool storage updates, including underfloor insulation in just that wee bit.
- Played lego with R.
- Finally the weather recovered, and I had a couple of nice trips outside.
- Finished painting my bedroom from twitter blue to white.
- Cleaned my old flat, and handed in the keys.
- Gave away lots more stuff on freecycle/freegle, and received some stuff too.
- Spent a fortune on bulk food / cleaning supply orders, but hopefully never have to think about those things again..
- Watched Parasite, finally.
- Saw many good doggos go past the window.

Nacreous clouds at sunset! Far more vivid than my camera could capture, in the colours of the trans flag. Max and I watched them from the beach until they turned bright orange and dissipated..

Some exceedingly braw sunrises this week. Mostly hot clear days. First half of the week starting the day with a bit of haar, so had to wait for the sun to rise past it. Beautiful blue afternoons, with enough sea breeze to offset the summer heat. Idyllic, really.
One day of heavy rain has decimated my footpath garden. I've covered everything, but too late for most. I miss when slugs were stealing my lettuces in my living room..

Gale force winds and freezing rain for more than a week now. This is the longest stretch of consistent weather since I moved here. And I am sick. of. it.

The grey days in Scotland make the sunny blue ones sweeter.
I wouldn't object to fewer grey days though, if that was, you know, an option.

The sun just came out, pointed itself right at my face. I can't see my computer screen any more, so this is a win all round. I'll just be basking until it goes away again.
