Fungus gnats continue to drive me to despair, but the spider population has increased considerably which is nice. The second birds eye plant died. All hope for a chilli filled summer hangs on the scotch bonnet.

Aphids have finished off all of the lemon pepper plants and one birds eye in my living room, and given up and mostly moved out, it seems. The second birds eye and scotch bonnet are clinging to life. Fungus gnat population has escalated dramatically.
Storm babet hit the east coast of Scotland hard. Continuous rain, enormous waves, and no public transport for several days. The beach has been entirely remodelled.
I met T in town, and we drove to North Queensferry, then walked over the bridge to South Queensferry. I've always wanted to walk around South Queensferry and somehow never managed to; it's very charming. We had a mid-afternoon meal in a pub, then walked back.
