A day out in Edinburgh with Max, who was Very Good. I had to pick up a box from BBL, and then we had a doughnut in ConsiderIt with JH.

Max was very good. We had a frolick across the Meadows, and took the train home from Haymarket.

Week in review: 13th - 19th November

Wrote.
Swam in the sea.
Caught up on housework and life admin due to procrastinating from writing.
Visited Jess and Maud.
Exciting trip to Rejects to look at fabric.
Coworked in Leith and stayed over chez Lowenna.
Saw Howie Reeve play in KDY in a very small gig which was really good.
Fermented beets, and ate lots of blewits and jelly ear.

A couple of days of coworking in Leith, and a night with Lowenna.

Ate nice lunches at Sly Fox and the Leith community garden cafe, and a mindblowing lime pasta at Nova Pizza. Nice to see coop colleagues.

Week in review: 6th - 12th November

Finished Bodies.
Had a bit of an intense co-op week; only worked two days, but it felt like a very long week indeed.
Chilli forest and accompanying aphids moved into my living room for the winter.
The weather picked up again, back to normal programming for November in Fife.
Made pumpkin pie (which was actually squash and sweet potato) at the Community Kitchen, and chocolate ginger tart for N's birthday.
Foraged blewits, cloud agaric, agricus.
Went to Edinburgh's Radical Book Fair, saw some talks on climate stuff, and bought many books.
Wrote, on the beach, in the hammock, and in various Kirkcaldy and Edinburgh cafes.
Swam in the sea.

Week in review: 23rd - 29th October

This month has flown by.
Worked pretty solidly this week. Went to Edinburgh twice, once to socialise with colleagues and once to work.
Made pear and almond tart, and beetroot brownies at the Community Kitchen.
Foraged lots of inkcaps.
Hallway shelves started going up.
Nice walkies with Max.
Waves pounded the coast again, but not as bad as before.

A few oysters but no ceps yet.
Made bread and butter pudding at the Community Kitchen, and fruit jelly at home.
Braw sunrises and walkies with Max.
Headed Edinburgh to stay with Tara for the beginning of my trip to Spain for TPAC.

Week in review: 24th - 30th July

Spent the week in Edinburgh being looked after by Tara.
Onboarded R into the co-op.
Walked to Cramond Island.
Lazed around.
Went to Leith, made new friends. Dropped in on Prewired, and got absolutely soaked in George Sq.
Climbed Arthur's Seat and judged the Prewired make-a-thon.
Read Keep the Aspidistra Flying.
Watched a load of Superstore.

Tara and I took one of our new friends up Arthur's Seat. We had lunch in BBL, then I went to Prewired to judge the make-a-thon. Tara helped.

Tara and I took the tram to Newhaven, and Tara made some new friends. We all went for a walk around Newhaven, then to Leith Market. It was periodically raining torrentially, but we managed to stop in Face Plant Food for a mac n cheese sandwich.

I dropped our new friends at various different points around Edinburgh, then found myself in the neighbourhood for Prewired, where I knew a small make-a-thon was ongoing, so I dropped in to say hi. I subsequently got roped in as a judge for the next day.

The day after a long walk, Tara wasn't up for going anywhere. Which was fortunate, as I had meetings all day. We did manage to get to the Meadows Tap in the evening though.

Tara and I had a lazy morning, lunch at Curran Geal, then missed the bus to Cramond. So we walked all the way from Bruntsfield to Cramond Island, via the causeway. It was great! We did not get trapped by the sea. I only had to fight Tara to stop her from eating disgusting things several times. There were also lots of revolting things to roll in.

We walked to Silverknowes, then caught a bus back into town. Met K at Holy Cow for dinner, then walked home.
