Aphids have finished off all of the lemon pepper plants and one birds eye in my living room, and given up and mostly moved out, it seems. The second birds eye and scotch bonnet are clinging to life. Fungus gnat population has escalated dramatically.
Planted french beans, runner beans, broad beans, soya beans, mange tout, parsley, basil, beetroot, fancy carrots, gherkins and cucumbers to kick off gardening season.
I made one mug warmer a couple of weeks ago and then was struck by a brilliant idea. It finally came to fruition. Two mug warmers, which when placed together create a portal to Unicornium! One each for J and F.
Oddly enough there aren't any amigurumi patterns for "half a unicorn" so I did most of this freestyle and I'm very proud of myself. I did adapt the head of a tiny horse pattern which wasn't tiny enough.
Visited J&F&E&E in Falkirk and worked on the crochet sea turtle but didn't finish it.
Enjoying Lilith's Brood, though some of the things the humans do are far more alien to me than the things the Oankali do. But also many aspects from the stories are working their way into my dreams quite severely.
Visited Dave in Dunoon. We climbed Bishop's Seat, visited Loch Eck and ate lots. Completely failed to see the northern lights despite being in a northern location with perfectly clear skies and low light pollution... because I went to bed early.
